Giuseppe Zanoni was born in Porto Ercole, Italy, on the 19th of June 1970. 
In 1985 he has taken the Certificate of Photography at the Infor Academy of Rome.

Since 1993 he`s working as a photoreporter for the agencies: Sestini (Florence), Makros (Milan), Focus (Florence); he`s even contributing as free - lance to the Italian newspapers and magazines La Repubblica, Il Messaggero, Oggi, Gente, Chi, Panorama and Espresso. In 1999 he realizes "Il Bombo" ("the bumble - bee"), a photoproject regarding the concept of miniature perception and the relation of time and space. In 2000 is published the book "Gocce d' Argento" ("silver drops") by Laurum Editrice. Since 2000 he' s teaching "Educazione all' Immagine" ("education to the imagine") at the photoworkshop and the primary and secondary school of Porto Ercole. In 2001 he begins the "Archivio della Memoria Storica" ("Archives of Historical Memory"), a collection of documents and audio-visual material about  the antique trades and popular traditions, which are disappearing, for the Comune of Monte Argentario, (www.archivioeuropeo.it). 
In the year 2001 he works as assistant photographer in the Studio Delogu at Rome. 
In 2003 he´s one of eight European artists which are taking part in the "Premio di Fotografia Contemporanea 'Federico Vender' " at Arco di Trento (www.premiovender.com). "Orizzontale" ("Horizontal") is a photoproject with the aim to re - organize the visual ability and to improve the perceptive process.
In 2005 he had a breaktrough, beeing one of the seven finalists of the prestigious “Premio Arte” of Milan with the Triptych “Mosaicone”.
